About The NACOPRW Northern Illinois Scholarship
NIL offers an exciting scholarship opportunity for young women of Puerto Rican heritage. Our goal is to promote academic achievement and professional development by supporting extraordinary students who embody leadership, academic excellence, and a commitment to community service.
The scholarship is open to college-bound high school seniors and current college students. Since 1993, the NIL chapter has selected exceptional recipients who have gone on to become leaders in healthcare, law, higher education, and business. Our mission is to empower Puerto Rican women to lead and thrive, ensuring they have the resources and network necessary to become changemakers in their communities.
